MR RAJENDRA MAHADEO PETKAR

CHAIRMAN & NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Mr Rajendra Petkar is the President & Chief Technology Officer at Tata Motors. He drives vision & strategy for automotive technology development, besides being responsible for vehicle engineering & delivery. He has been leading a culture of innovation & frugal engineering at Tata Motors with an objective of delivering sustainable & differentiated products for customers

In his role as head of R&D, Mr Petkar has spearheaded the transformation of the product portfolio through multiple interventions like “New Forever” range of cars, “Future Ready” range of Commercial Vehicles, BS4 to BS6 emission transition, Connected Vehicle Platform, and leadership in occupant safety. He also key positions at various automotive & industry bodies like the Society of Indian Automotive Manufacturers (SIAM), National Automotive Board (NAB) & Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

An alumnus of IIT Bombay, Mr Petkar enjoys travelling, reading and interaction with the youth of today.

Mr Anand S, is presently designated as Vice President & Business Head CV Passenger of Tata Motors Limited

Mr Anand has completed his BE in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamraj University, Tamil Nadu and his MBA in Finance from Anna University, Tamil Nadu. He started his career with Greaves in 1996 and worked with multiple organization including New Holland Tractors India and TAFE before re-joining Tata Motors in 2020.

Mr Anand has varied experience, in the field of Sales & Marketing. During the span of his employment with Tata Motors Limited, he has worked on several high impact assignments, like CV Passenger and Trucks Business.
